The Lollies met so many fabulous femme-tastic bands while on tour that they thought, why not play with them all?
Traditional festivals (yeah, even the so-called "alternative" ones) are still so stupidly male dominated. Supposedly pro-female festivals (mentioning no names) have this whole baggage of politics and radical feminism attached.
This will be a festival about fun, about pop, about great music that happens to be created by women, and most of all, about equality and true gender integration.
If you want to get involved - if you're in a band and want to play, or if you do a zine and want to do a feature/interview/just help with promotion then write us!
