them all?
Traditional festivals (yeah, even the so-called "alternative" ones) are
still so stupidly male dominated. Supposedly pro-female festivals (mentioning
no names) have this whole baggage of politics and radical feminism attached.
This will be a festival about fun, about pop, about great music that happens
to be created by women, and most of all, about equality and true gender
integration.
If you want to get involved - if you're in a band and want to play, or
if you do a zine and want to do a feature/interview/just help with promotion

Just so you know, the July 25th gig at the Falcon was cancelled and apparently the legendary Falcon is going to be torn down so The Man can put up a flock of bats for mobile-loving cargo pant-wearing dot.communists. But Kate and Matthew went to see Magnetic Fields at the South Bank Centre and had a fabulous time despite it all.
